The Maple Leaf is a recurring weapon in the Momodora series. Most of the time it is used as the main weapon for combat. The Leaf is used by priestesses from Lun.
Rdein has said in an interview that he chose leaves as main weapons for his characters because he thinks that "...leaves are cool" [1]
Momodora I[]
In Momodora I, Isadora is seen using a maple leaf as a weapon. It is labeled as "Magic Leaf" and is Isadora's default weapon. She can attack rapidly, alternating between 2 attacks.

Momodora II[]
In Momodora II, Momo uses the Maple Leaf as her main melee weapon. Momo can attack quickly, alternating between a forward and backward attack. Momo can also use the "Green Magic Leaf", similar to the "Magic Leaf" from Momodora I. It has the same attack animations as the Maple Leaf (with a green coloured leaf) and does more damage.

In Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, the Maple Leaf is used as Kaho's main weapon. Kaho can attack three times in quick succession. Here is a chart of all different attacks, with their damage values:
